We live in a time of unprecedented change and collective challenge. So which road will we take? Climate change, pollution, energy demands, economic collapse and basic resource depletion amidst exponential gains in human population reflect a concern of staggering proportion. As many look to technology to solve the crisis, we must consider that technology alone merely amplifies the effects of human choice. Historically, technology is commonly directed to military purpose before addressing human need. As the technology curve rises sharply without a comparable advance in human behavioral maturity, the stakes are raised in a game that can be devastating. It is therefore unlikely that technology alone will rescue us from ourselves.

As we examine the human legacy gleaned from the prophetic vision of our ancestors, a common reference to the interconnected cycles of evolving life emerge. Whether it is the biblical apocalypse, the dawn of Kepper, or the setting of the fifth sun, December 21st 2012, these prophesies refer to a point of culmination and infer a new beginning. The Old way of doing business is no longer compatible with the circumstances forging the future. As sure as the wheel of time turns, human destiny and consciousness walk forward in the twilight of a new day. This milestone in evolution will require a new vision of the ourselves and our world to be seen by the individual through the eyes of unity. This vision of wholeness is marked by the experiential confirmation of the interconnectedness of all life through source. This experience, in its many forms, is the mystic current flowing deep within the oceans of philosophy and religion. It is the great unity that remains unseen at the surface. The shift from a world based in fear, separation and lack to a world based in individual empowerment, unity and abundance is a shift within the conscious awareness of the individual. This awareness cannot be conferred by an external authority, it must be acknowledged, chosen and uncovered from within.
