There are many different systems using vowels, visualization of form and/or color and specific notes or frequencies to address the bio-energetic field. In Harmonic Intonement we are primarily concerned with consciously establishing the path and vibration through the Chakra system using vowel sequence. The vowel sequence that is used is intended to enhance the smooth transition from one vowel to the next and establish a smooth, discernible path of vibration in an ascending current from the lower centers through the crown. This sequence of vowels and their respective harmonics also creates an ascending scale of overtones. After establishing the path of vibration using vowel sequence the pathway can be amplified by integrating an ascending scale of pitch. By using vowels in conjunction with pitch, the path of vibration flowing through the body is easily felt and consciously directed. Through the integration of the heart centered connection to the healing power of life and the current of vibration flowing through the body, our bioenergtic field is balanced, stimulated and optimized.
